Come and help improve the health of your local creek and protect wildlife habitat!

We will pick up trash along the creekside trail to Alameda Creek, and around the pond in the park. We will tally the types of trash that we find as part of California Coastal Cleanup Day. We will learn about the impact of trash on water quality in the creek and on the wildlife that lives there.

Wear work clothes and sturdy shoes that can get dirty (please no sandals), and bring gloves if you have them. We will provide trash bags, gloves to loan and litter grabbers. Snacks will also be provided.

Please bring your own re-fillable water bottle.

ALL VOLUNTEERS WELCOME! Kids 12 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult. Youth groups welcome!

LIABILITY WAIVERS MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO PARTICIPATION. See PDF attachments to download and complete these required forms.
